Highly awarded and locally renowned sales agent, Darcy Lord, joins the Belle Property Bulimba team. A move that reinforces Belle Property’s growing presence in one of Brisbane’s most sought-after markets.
Over the 15 years that Darcy was with PLACE Bulimba, he had established himself as one of the leading agents in Brisbane’s inner eastern suburbs, transacting in $300 million worth of property across core market areas.
“It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make, as I have nothing but love and respect for PLACE Bulimba,” says Darcy. “But I’ve had the urge to pioneer a team for years now. Bringing the values that I inherited from home – trust, loyalty, integrity and hard work – to a team that could operate and have a great life while working together.”
Having grown up on a 600,000-acre cattle station in rural Queensland, Darcy’s ethos and highly revered client care underpin his successful career to-date. With the opportunity to work alongside Belle Property’s No. 1 Sales Agent, Tony O’Doherty, Darcy knew it would propel his career to the next level.
“Tony O’Doherty has made a stamp in the area that I am committed to, and after several meetings and conversations, we understood our values were the same. And that’s when you know you can escalate and achieve great things,” explains Darcy.
Belle Property’s Head of Queensland, Jon Iceton states that Darcy not only elevates the team but proves that Belle Property Bulimba is gaining a lot of traction in what is a very competitive marketplace.
“Darcy is a highly motivated and driven individual whose values are very much aligned with Belle Property’s,” says Jon. “He is a fantastic agent, and we’re very excited to see the many successes he is sure to have with the brand.”
Belle Property’s ever-expanding presence in Queensland indicates the brand’s growing strength. Over the past 10-months, Belle Property has opened three new residential offices, a commercial retail arm and have acquired several top-performing real estate professionals.
“There is a level of integrity in the business that runs from the top down to its people. I wanted to be part of a brand that not only values its people but can relate to the people of the area,” says Darcy.
