The Role:
Reporting to our Property Management Department, the Leasing Officer will be responsible for showcasing rental properties, assisting with tenancy applications, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for all prospective tenants. You’ll be the friendly face representing our agency at open homes and the key link between applicants, landlords, and our property managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct open homes and private inspections professionally and punctually
- Respond to rental enquiries, provide property information, and build rapport with prospective tenants
- Process tenancy applications, verify documents, and communicate outcomes
- Prepare and update rental listings across online platforms
- Assist the Property Manager with ingoing, outgoing and routine reports, lease preparation, and general administration
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance requirements are met
- Represent the Hockingstuart brand with professionalism, care, and excellent customer service
About You:
You are a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for helping people find their next home. You are proactive, approachable, and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in your presentation and understand the importance of delivering a seamless experience for both tenants and landlords.
Requirements:
- Current NSW Certificate of Registration
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
- Prior experience in real estate or customer service is highly regarded but not essential
