The Block: Daniel and Jade lock in winning real estate agent

South Australian couple, Daniel and Jade, have the winning edge in this year’s season of the hit TV show, The Block, by locking in three-time Block winner, selling agent David Wood of Belle Property Albert Park during the Domain Challenge on Tuesday night's episode.

“The thing that shines through with Daniel and Jade’s build is their quality. Buyers will be very impressed when they see the quality and attention to detail. Plus, they have a secret weapon that we’ve got coming up in the show,” said David.

The farmer and hairdresser from Wandearah in South Australia took on the 1930s build (House no. 3), revamping the existing house with a stunning new addition. To have secured David Wood, who is in his tenth season on The Block, and co-agent Stephanie Evans, who is in her fifth season, is a big coup for the contestants.

“Just like we do with every vendor, we are going to put heart and soul into the sale to ensure that every aspect of the campaign has the same attention to detail as Daniel and Jade have put into their build. Hopefully, this will put them in a winning position come auction day,” said David.

On the back of having won last year with Luke and Tess, who were considered the underdogs of season 15, David will be bringing his winning formula to Daniel and Jade’s Brighton house, despite it looking a little different this year due to the effects of Covid-19.

“Without public open for inspections, it’s going to be a very different season this year, but just like we do with every property, we’ll be tapping into our vast national referral network through the Belle Property and Hockingstuart group.

David continues, "It is vitally important for us to utilise the technology we have to cater to potential buyers who can't physically inspect the property. Photo panorama, extensive video content and interactive floorplans will provide buyers with a truly immersive virtual tour of the property.”

With the merger of Hockingstuart and Belle Property last year, David has access to a greater network through the brand’s national reach. Plus, Belle Property’s affiliation with design publication Belle Magazine and exclusive partnership with lifestyle brand Sitchu only strengthens the campaign for House no. 3.

“Knowing the craftsmanship and the level of detail that Daniel and Jade have put into the home, the Belle Property brand as a whole is excited to be part of their journey on The Block,” said Peter Hanscomb, CEO of Belle Property.

And although this season of The Block will be unlike any other, David and his team will once again be delivering a campaign that will set Daniel and Jade apart come auction day.

“We are going to work extremely hard, as we do with all our vendors, pouring every bit of energy that we can to ensure every potential buyer is represented on auction day,” said David.
