The Playful Side of Robina

Planned meticulously, affluent Robina is a state-of-the-art-suburb that sets the standard for Gold Coast living. Manicured golf courses, lush parklands, prestigious educational precincts and world-class shopping are just some of what Robina has to offer. The best part? It’s all within easy reach of the beaches that put this area on the map in the first place.
You would be forgiven for thinking Robina was custom made for families, with its plentiful parklands and playgrounds, bike trails, walking paths, schools and spacious homes. A part of Queensland’s fastest growing region, Robina is a master-planned development that has taken the Gold Coast to a new level.
Built around three lakes – West Lake, Robina Waters and Lake Orr – Robina offers the laid-back coastal lifestyle for which the region is renowned, but with a side of glitz.
Robina’s luxuriously sized shopping complex is teeming with boutiques and household brands. Eateries and bars keep things rolling well into the evening. And on the other side of Robina, Bond University on Lake Orr is a prestigious academic institution that draws large numbers of students.
Sport is something of a religion in Robina. There are three notable golf courses (including a Greg Norman-designed course), and the Cbus Super Stadium (home to the Gold Coast Titans). Robina also hosts the Rugby Sevens tournament and will be a venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
With all this going on, it’s really no surprise that, come weekends, Robina’s public playing fields are crowded with people playing a multitude of sports.
One of Robina’s major drawcards is its location. Brisbane’s CBD is easily accessible via train, and the beaches, Surfers Paradise and hinterland regions are all only moments away. Combine all this with luxurious waterfront properties, parkside homes, generous apartments and family abodes which line quiet cul-de-sacs, and you’ll know why Robina is a highly sought-after Gold Coast neighbourhood.
