The huge decision to make when deciding to sell a family home of who to choose regarding a real estate agent was so daunting, I was advised to see three agents, and choose one of the three. I met John a number of years ago when he was recommended to me by a family friend when I was considering selling an investment property in Manly. As it transpired the tenant purchased the property prior to me signing with an agent but John still offered his advice and help throughout the process. Since then, I would occasionally catch up with John to ask his thoughts about timing on selling an apartment in Seaforth. He would always give me an indication of the market and often talk me out of selling at the time when he thought the market might improve over the following 12 to 24 months. I first met John Backhouse twelve years ago when I was trying to sell my family home in Balgowlah. I had seen a townhouse that he had open for inspection and knew it was for my family.
