"When the time arrived for this property to be sold, the Executors were faced with the decision as to who to appoint as the Agent and the method of sale to be employed. Several firms were recommended however yours was the first to be interviewed.

George Gialouris attended the site and his enthusiasm for the matter was infectious.

The age and condition of the property would have encouraged substantial expenditure of money to prepare for sale, however wise counsel from George ensured that a clear plan of rectification and beautification was undertaken within a strict budget and the result was the property was presented in an excellent condition, thereby making it more saleable.

George co-ordinated the work of painting, carpeting, repairs, maintenance, cleaning and kept the Executors fully informed of progress and cost. There were no surprises. 

From the moment the property was opened for inspection, George kept the Executors informed, sometimes, many times per day. His advice was to allow the property to find its own market and not to put it to auction. He suggested a starting figure to attract interest and to allow the market to find its level. This could only work, of course, with the enthusiasm shown by George in encouraging people to inspect the property and to make offers.

It was a pleasure to watch a young man, good at his craft, conduct the sale proceedings, very capably, gain confidence to all prospective purchasers to eventually achieve, what is considered to be, an outstanding result.

George’s actions, however did not stop there. There was still work to be done to ensure that the conveyancing process itself proceeded smoothly and he was always available to attend to any matters which would ensure that this occurred.

The end result was that a property in poor condition was rejuvenated, professionally marketed, an outstanding result received and completion effected to the satisfaction of the Executors.
